Does anyone know how have a program write a midi file? I've wrote a program that'll pick a few random notes and show them to me. I think it'd be cool if i could get my program to be able to create a midi file and then play back the notes as well. If anyone knows how to do this or know where i can find help, then please let me know.

Thanks :-)

look for midi file format specifications...then it should be as easy as displaying the notes :-)
