Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Xmas and thank the boards admin for their sterling work.

As the board has members throughout the world...

In English it's Merry Christmas, what is it in other languages?

(p.s. apologies and greetings to those who do not celebrate Xmas...happy whatever)  :D

Merry Christmas innit ,  That's how it would be said in the town of my birth   .  Now see if you can guess which town,  it's in South East England, it has an airport, a football team (supposedly   ) and was once famous for making cars, until the car plant closed down.  If I say any more I'll give the game away, oh yes and it's a crap place IMHO.

Merry or Happy Christmas are the usual greetings in England, being more Pagan in my spirituality I wish people a Happy Winter Solstice or Yule :).

I've been a member of TubularBoard now for almost a year, I think the 17th December '04 was when I joined. Thanks to the administrators, musicians and other members who make this board such fun.   :).  Greetings too to Mike, without his music there would be no TubularBoard to post on.
Happy Yuletide greetings to you all  :)

BTW Alan Like your MVR inspired card .

@Moonchildhippy, Bedfordshire!  Sorry, I cheated, got your card yesterday, thank you so very much. My Mum thinks I am having a fling with young Harry now! with it going to her address and the name on the back.

Been trying to think of an Aussie way to send Xmas cheer and all I could come up with was

'G'day. Throw another shrimp on the barby!'

I laugh every time I see Father Xmas all covered up in his fur coat and pants when it is 40c here! We sometimes see a Santa in a blue singlet, shorts and thongs, will post a pic of how an Aussie Santa arrives in Members Photographs, wish I knew how to do links.

Well the place is real enough, I guess, but it's a devilish tricky job getting a daliphant to pose like that for long enough to take its photo.

After I viewed the card, I did a daliphant search. I found some photos that did not appear to be Oldfield related. Is the Daliphant something he made up for MVR, or did he get it from elsewhere?
