As I ease into my Christmas shutdown - libraries closed, not planning to top up my phone - I'm reminded that there was one more post from a year ago that didn't quite go to plan.  So here we go again with a tried and tested link!

Quote (Cavalier (Lost Version) @ Dec. 24 2010, 10:03)
Once I've logged off here, that'll be me til the New Year.  You really should try the life of a non-computer owning, public library-visting scrooge like me.

However, if TV and film have anything to teach us it's that there is no shortage of ruddy ghosts amenable to mending wicked ways at this time of year, so I wish every one here a very happy Christmas and hope to keep the spirit in my heart for the year to come.

More likely I'll end up like another celebrated misanthrope

Happy holidays! :xmas:

Tubes? Toobs? Tublarians? Tubularians? Or as the charming Mr Hazlewood would suggest: "Bellends" - hmmm.

Whatever, a very merry Xmas to you all!!!

Are we Tublarians or Tubularians

...or are we dancers.

(are we human or are we dancers :/  -  daft lyrics - but given me an idea for a new thread)

I like Boxing Day - the mania part is over.  :)

@ wiga: the actual lyric is "are we human or are we dancer" and it's not daft at all IMHO - Mike wrote much worse stuff. :D
