Who wants pictures of me as an ommadawn era MO lookalike? :D

Or a normal picture of me?

In both cases, I'll have to take pictures of myself, so I'll have to learn that first...

But here's the regular me:

Geez Ray, 12 posts in 6 years and one of them is to me asking if I am the daft one, I like to think I am the pusher and not the pushee.

Nice photo Nicolas. My favourite pic of Mike which is in here is the black and white one of him from 1974/5? I believe.

Welcome Oblique, nice to see you.

Tracy.

Thanks TubularBelle.

btw on your avatar:  the real video is just the fat penguin going through the ice in that funny "tip over" fashion.  There is no second penguin in reality.  However, people had a good time with this video.  In one alteration, they added a penguin to the right who slaps the penguin over -see your avatar.  In another varaiant, they added a penguin to the left that has another trick:

I have the hair, I have the blue eyes. I did not have the beard so I gave myself 3 days (which is not enough by far).  I tried to remake the pic, but I don't have studiolights so the resulting image is grainy. Also, I had nobody to take the picture for me (thank God :D ) so this is autoshutter work.

Anyway, here's my attempt with the reference on the left:

Have just found this thread.

Both pics taken March 05. Tracy, I think you have seen the first one when it was on Tim's gallery.

Taken from the beach in Cornwall where I live

Publicity photo for a concert I played last year. Taken at my parents' house

At less than a month from 22 (on writing this) it looks like I am one of the older members here. :/

Hi Jammer, yes I do remember seeing that photo of you on Tims site, I don't go in there anymore. You old fart you!

Nicolas, great job, although your eyes don't look blue but if you say they are I believe you. Will you marry me?

I sent my Mum a picture of Mike with Fanny behind him with her arms wrapped around him, and she is going to take Fanny out and put me in, (A photo taken a few years ago I will admit), we have similar colouring and hair so it should work well but I'm getting tired of waiting for it. If anyone else is clever at doing that stuff and would like to have a go at it for me, let me know and I will send you the pics, cheers.

And this is the pic of me I would replace it with. Taken in 2000.

Does anyone know where I can access a larger copy of that pic of Mike and Fanny, or any others of the two of them together?

Thanks.

Nicolas, Will you marry me?

You know if I'd get a dollar each time....

Seriously though.  Why are people sending me emails asking whether I can redo some Voyager pics?  ;)  :D

TubularBelle: indeed you can't see it in the pic, but my eyes really are blue.  Not that I really like my eyes, but they are blue nonetheless :).

It seems to have been taken down now, otherwise I would have linked straight to it.

Looks a lot like the shores of Gitche-Gumme.

You couldn't ride a birch canoe with paddles in that sea :)

I'm pretty convinced that the bit of coastline further up was used in Mike's video to 'Northpoint' as a background.

Lee, what a most wonderful lady you have Lee :) .

I'd love to see your portrait of the Ommadawn cover, I'd love a portrait of Mike to have pride of place in my lounge
:), my walls look rather bare.
