I think this was around the time of Tubular Bells/Hergest Ridge.

Well-spotted, Bee. I hadn't noticed that. For all I know, there could have been a TB LP in the trunk!

I want to prevent any misconceptions in terms of image, as judging by the posts I've been making recently some people might be led to think I look like The Angry Video Game Nerd or something, so I'll do something about that. There's me, in white, on the far right of the picture.

All those people are from my workplace, by the way - not relatives or anything.

Thanks Bee.

Yep when I was in Kington I could've spent hours browsing in Castle Hill Books    :D .

Here's a better pic of me taken today in my friend Sarah's garden, something was obviously amusing me.

That's still me , except myhair has gone more curly/wavy  , the pain I go through to get curly hair, perming lotion dripping down my neck , yuck!!!
I would put an up to date pic of me up, but my mobile phone doesn't have a camera    :O , yes it's antique, and as regards mobile phones  I'm using disposable cameras since my 35mm camera went wrong.  A digital camera is anither thing to add to mt shopping list, along with many other things I need  :O

:O  He looks like an ordinary bloke!

But I thought you live in Brazil. Where's the rainforest and the soccer balls?

Nope, I'm not an anthropologist.

Where Sir Mustapha and I live(and we live in 2 different cities),there's no rainforest at all  :p

Sir M, I hadn't pictured you as particularly nerdy nor even angry. I usually imagine your comments being delivered in a most unperturbed manner. Well, maybe a little eye-rolling, but never fist-shaking! Your photo hasn't changed that.

Jesse, it appears that your cut is a little shorter than last time. Where were you off to, there?

I think unperturbed is a good word here (and a new one for me :) ). I hadn't really formed a mental image of Sir M. I tend to, almost unconsciously, think that people look like their avatars. Hooray vivid imagination!

I'm  not surprised your'e not smiling Ommadawn 69 if you're doing security work, or at least if security work is anything as bad in Canada as it is over here, often long hours for little more than the minimum wage which is currently £5.50 ph. I don't know why some firms expect security guards to work up to 60 hours pw as the normal working week, don't they realise that security guards have a life outside of work too.  I know long hours, and geography  if the relationship wasn't so strong as it was, could've broken myself and my boyfriend up. Fortunately he's no longer doing that crappy job.
I guess it's a bit like care work long hours and staff shortages and low pay.  I guess care work  is what I know rather than what I'd enjoy doing.
