These were taken in Turkey a few weeks ago.

Excuse the shiny faces - it was very hot. Mid-40s in the afternoon.

Count me in, I'm up for a Hergest Ridge visit next year, especially now I've got a car      :D  :D  :D .

Yanouch I guess it all depends on what transport you use.  Nearest railway stations are Leominster or Hereford, accessible from London Paddington, or other mainline railway stations, then a bus to Kington. Don't try getting from Leominster or Hereford to Kington on a Sunday, as there's no busses. Alternatively if you drive and have a UK licence it may be easier to hire a car, gives you more freedom.
Unless you live in one of the main UK cities, public transport can be a bit thin on the ground.

I would love to meet you all at the Beacon, oh no, it's not a bed and breakfast anymore is it, it's a private house now, oh well, I'm sure they won't mind, they will understand when we explain who we are and why we are there. Failing that we could all pitch tents on the lawn or stay at the local Pub. I seriously would like to sleep out in the open for one night, how cold does it get there?

But it's such a long way, for me, if it didn't correspond with any chance of seeing Mike in concert it would mean that I would never get that chance again unless he came to Adelaide which is highly unlikely. But it is my intention to make it over there once and if Mike is ever touring in that area, count me in. Surely someone in the know can find out what Mikes future tour plans are. Maybe we should wait until he releases the next album.

Just to add a photo to this, here is a pic of my grand daughter Chloe who is now 4 months old.

And on a sad note, my 16 year old pussy cat just died in my arms less than an hour ago and I am very sad. I came in here for some solace. Thanks Bee for cheering me up with your beautiful drawing and your photos of the pretty girl on the hill :)

Hey, how come that came up straight away? cool!

Be afraid, be very afraid:laugh: , the real Moonchildhippy is about to be exposed .

This isn't the best photo of me , I had it taken for awork ID/ passport application, to go to Germany for NOTP before my work situation went pear shaped   :O .  Those photo booths always make ya look moody.
Still I've a friend into photography , has offered to take some  pics of me. Here they'll be more natural, and will really bring out the hippy in me

Haven't looked at this thread for ages, so haven't seen any of this recent stuff.

First - sorry to hear about your cat Tracy. I know it's really hard to lose a pet that's been with you for so long.

Second - Tracey with an 'e' (bee) - those daylight pictures of Hergest Ridge are instantly recognisable, and as I looked at them I was suddenly seized with a longing to be there again. Something about seeing you there in mid-walk, pausing in the process of going onwards and upwards, I suppose. I bet you had a great day.

Third - Galadriel. Hello, after all this time, and what a pleasure.

This is me. Can't boast with pics of myself on Hergest Ridge, but the setting of the second picture is suitably rural.
