Ginger Daddy Group: Members Posts: 401 Joined: April 2002 Posted: Dec. 29 2011, 07:09 Hi, I'm about 70% finished my next album (called "Infinity... Plus One"), and this track, Möbius, is going to be the last track on the album. http://soundcloud.com/purplerhapsody/m-bius It's an ambitious track with quiet solo piano sections and full blown orchestra, electric guit, and percussion sections, and some stuff in-between too. I'd love some feedback on the mixing and mastering - neither of them are my strong points. Is there too much compression on the louder bits? Are the quiet bits too quiet? How about EQ? I almost gave up on this one because I couldn't get it right but persevered with some encouragement from my wife. I actually had some delay/echo on the piano in an earlier mix but removed it because it sounded too much like "Children" (did you mean Robert Miles?)... I guess the resemblance is still there though!
