tubularbills Group: Members Posts: 528 Joined: Aug. 2000 Posted: Aug. 29 2000, 16:44 Yeah, in "Let there Be Light" off of TSODE, there are a few chants of words(?) that i can't quite get. The first one i can make out "Burning....melting...???????" there's a 3rd word(s) that souds like, "disown me" but i'm not sure. The 2nd one i have no idea whatsoever. It sounds like, "Adios...toodles...????"" there's again a 3rd word that i have no idea what it is. I don't even know if the 1st 2 words are right. Are they even words at all??? Does anyone know at all!? i'd really like to know. -------------- Terrible, Wonderful, Crazy, Perfect. Back to top

These words are told: "crystal clear, now, floating, dissolving, let's go (??)" So this last word is my question. Do you think it's really "Let's go"? I guess there isn't any 'S'. It might be said "Let go" or "net-call" or something like this. And... I tried to write down the lyrics of Hibernaculum. The lyrics to 'Hibernaculum' do not have any coherent meaning in Latin, because the language is not meant to be Latin but merely to sound like it; in addition to this, "Domito" is an invented word [in spite of EeToN saying it is not... ], and three lines (the second, the fourth and the sixth) are grammatically wrong. Anyway, the approximate translation is like this: "Let's praise the Lord, let's sing while sleeping [invented]. The skies are full [of Thy glory] [from the "Sanctus" prayer], and the world of the evening [literal translation - maybe it should mean in the evening]. Let's praise the Lord, let's sing to the Lord." Sorry, but I can't understand the background chant. I see, You won't believe in any official source in the matter of existence of the word 'dormito' (and not 'dornito' ). But how can You hear the first word of second row as 'Cantimus'? There is obviously another 's' in it (to me) - with the same sound that is also at the end of the word so it can't be a hihat... Anyway, I think that you accidentally transposed the last two rows.
