Im currently seeding this dvd i made last night...it might not be so perfect but its all watchable...it has trackmenu also.
I was capturing it last night from my original recording using XviD best possible bitrate so captured avi file was 5GB where that dvd video was made from. There is some crispness in image but that is most likely caused by noise filter than compression...as i said its not that great i spent 4-5 hours total doing everything from capturing to dvd authoring and ready image ;)

I could had added Edinburgh 80 in same dvd but its in progress as separated DVD that is not made by me so i decide to do this only.

Sample: MPEG Sample (36mb)

Full ISO image: DVD image

Very interesting!

I can open the sample with Media Player but I cannot open the full DVD!

What must I do? And how to do to download it?

Thank you

Please don't  get me wrong, because I really appreciate the effort you've made. It's great that still there are people who are willing to do some great work (I know, because currently I'm authoring a dvd of another artist ;) ) and then share it with others.

But please explain me what's the point of capturing in XViD while going to create a DVD? All I can see are disadvantages:
1) XViD is lossy
2) XViD requires far more CPU Power for encoding, what for 99% will result in dropping frames
3) Encoding->Decoding->Encoding means more and more quality loss.

I can think about only one advantage, which is required disk space, but as you also author the DVD, you must have plenty of it...

Summarizing, I don't get the point of your "processing chain" ;)

cheers

my point was that i wanted to filter image in fly to save alot of time and that was possible with xvid...result was nearly 5GB xvid file that is less lossy than mpeg2 dvd file dont you think?...most quality loss i noticed when converting avi to vob...my original xvid looks far better than vob and i also tried capturing directly to mpeg but i didnt like result so i decided to capture it as avi first.
I could had recorded uncompressed avi first if having 100GB free space...then wait hours to filter it etc...but i still dont think result could had been much better or not better at all.

I can capture xvid full bitrate full resolution and filters on without frame drops...with single core cpu only ;)

But i didnt bother to waste too much time for this so i rather wait that 1:1 quality from vhs that is released in some spansh site soon ;) i need to admit that i cannot get digital result out that as good as VHS...especially when source material is not excellent quality...

Well, if so, I can do nothing but agree with you ;)
I am a bit surprised with things you say about the quality of the VOBs. What MPEG-2 codec are you using?

cheers

Here is good example how xvid is better than offical released dvd when its about compression blocks and quality loss...

AiH promo edit from VHS captured directly from vhs with xvid:

part 1: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IYNJK78Q
part 2: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=HWPPBGTY
(160mb total)

I havent tried to convert this into mpeg2 but i know for sure that alot is lost if i do it...there is same visual parts in offical dvd that gets very blocky (those strobo lights).
