I notice on some live recordings that Mike uses a device for harmony.Particuarly in evidence on the live version of Punkadidle.What i can't figure out is if it's a harmoniser such as a very early Eventide unit or  similar or a simple 'one down' octave device.It's a really nice warm thick sound but i find it hard to work out what exactly it is and it's beginning to bug me.Sounds great on the Montreux version of TB pt 2 when he launches into the 'bagpipe guitar' theme!

The first Eventide pitch-shifters came out in the late 70s so it's possible that it was one of them.
