Incidentally, I thought John Cleese was the only actually enjoyable part of TB2003 - but mostly because I found it such a huge disappointment, and Cleese's performance was unexpected and, well, British. I never considered TB as a "serious" piece of music, though. One of the things I like best about Mike's music is the irony and ambivalence, and I still prefer Stanshall's subtle performance to Cleese's bombastic approach. But like I said, it's the best part of TB2003 to me.
