Anyone got any?

I'll start it off:

On which album was "Band In The Rain"/"L'Orchestre sous la pluie"?
Does it then have another name (e.g. "Oxygene pt. VI")

I'm sure I've heard it on a "named" album as a "part", but it was a cheap copy and probably wrong.

"Band in the rain" is in fact a piece of music in the beginning of "Equinoxe 8".

It's a bit strange that on the compilation 'Images' it says that the song is produced in 1982, when in fact it is taken straight off the 'Equinoxe' album from 1978. Maybe he first used the title "Band in the rain" for the "Concerts in China" project?
I can tell you I was really surprised to hear "Band in the rain" when I heard the Equinoxe album for the first time! eek I had no idea that is should appear on that album. ('Images' was the first Jarre record I bought.)

By the way, "Equinoxe 8" is a slow version of the "Equinoxe 5" melody, but "Band in the rain" is within the same track.

Thx, 'Billy

OK, next question. Anyone with a sense of chords or a musical instrument to hand play each of the following chords for about 2 seconds each to achieve the correct tempo:
(make each change in pitch as small as possible i.e. G Bb D -> G C Eb in the first change)

G- C- D7+ G-
Eb+ Ab+ Bb+ Eb+
C+ F+ C7+ F+
D+ G- D+ D+

Bb- Bb- G- G-
Eb+ Eb+ D+ G- D7+ D7+

(I've tried to keep it as simple as possible: +major -minor)

OK, anyone identify this track? I heard it a while ago on someone's station on live365, but our network proxy filtered out the content panel, so I didn't know what it was, and I've been hanging here so long it's a miracle I haven't choked yet! ;-)

TIA

Ugo helped me a bit last night - in identifying that it's definitely on CM. He suggested CM4. I don't have CM, but I do have CIC, the inlay of which says that the said Concerts were around the same time as CM. I listened to CM2-4 from that, and no match - I'm thinking CM1, since 0'28" of "CM1" appears there, and the track names "The Overture" is the track I was talking about earlier, just performed at half-speed. I'm looking into CM1, and I have a MIDI (named only "JARRE2.MID") if anyone wants it.

If that doesn't work, try http://www.chirho.i12.com/midi/JARRE2.MID

OK - confirmation - Ugo found it for me. Confirmed to be CM1. Thx to all that helped, and the MIDI's staying, if anyone wants a listen anyway smile
