In association with oldfield.de and oldfield.info, there will be an online chat with Jason Cluts, co-writer of Slipstream this Saturday at 22:00 GMT (that is 23:00 in the UK, 00:00 in mainland Europe).

You can join via the oldfield.info chat interface or by using an IRC client and connecting to server irc.oldfield.info channel #mike_oldfield

Thanks, ToroAcu! Sounds like a very interesting session--and a lengthy one, with lots of people there. How long did it last?

Some things that jumped out at me, past the discussion of FL and electronic devices/computer-assisted music....

Jason was familiar with TB prior to working with Mike, but has now explored other works and really likes Ommadawn and Hergest Ridge;
Still hasn't received the L + S CD (used online source to hear);
Had been contacted a year before & enjoyed working with Mike; Mike asked for input and Jason described him as "gracious";
He lives in St. Louis, woohoo! :D

Thanks to those who arranged this! Hopefully there will be more opportunities!

Neither do I, really....just click on "aqui" in the second paragraph and you will beam to the chat transcript, most of which is in English.
