What would that tune be ?

Actually, those words would go perfectly over the tune to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' "The Criminal Kind" (can't find a YouTube vid for it).

I'll look that one up. But, I'm still open to offers.

That one might be a winner. I've gotta 12 string electric here thats been unemployed since " On The Piste "

"Lucille" by Kenny Rogers could almost be hammered into place, except its first line has one syllable too many (the second fits tho):

In a bar in Toledo
Across from the depot...

You picked a fine time to leave me Loose Eel

Nightspore has it bang on, Milamber got close but it, only works on the bridge.

Your prize Nightspore..........................is.....................
write the second verse and I'll have a go at recording it.

Second prize to Milamber.....................write the chorus. You've got the first line.

Third Prize Syd B................ write the bridge, in the style of Tom Petty. I can't bastardise his songs. He's a hero.

I hope you can all sing.  SHOCKING
