Hergest Ridge and Incantations were albums that grew in me with time; the former was way too pastoral for what I expected from Mike, and the latter was too big and dense. On the other hand, The Sounds of Distant Earth and Tubular Bells II took a nosedive.
Music of the Spheres, though, is still ok in my book. I never held it as a masterpiece, though it was a positive surprise. I like it.
