Well it often was!  The current series on Channel 4 in the UK is reminding us of a lot of controversial and potentially shocking moments from the various decades of television in the UK.  A moment that has just flashed by was from a lady advising youth to avoid immorality - as featured on one of the BBC's old religious programmes, Sunday Worship; and of note because it was using Incantations as its theme tune.  Specifically, it was the flute section from part 1 - and the first one, I think.  Off to record it on the +1 channel! :)

At about 14 minutes in, is a bit of the opening titles then a few clips of the programme in question, mixed with the reactions of today.  It's given title here is "SUNDAY WORSHIP:  JESUS: HIS LIFE AND TEACHINGS" from 1984, on BBC1.
