Just came across this Youtube Video- cant believe I have never seen it before. Is it 100% genuine?

I believe it is - one of the tracks he put together in the experiments that ultimately led to Light + Shade.

If I remember right, the Hallelujah Chorus was one of the demo tracks that came with the Cantor virtual vocalist software, though Mike's arrangement is quite obviously different. Still, I wonder if (rather like with Slipstream) that demo was what initially inspired him to try it.

That's very nice and floaty, and very Oldfield indeed.

The aleluya part made me lol.

Anyone have a better quality version of this?

This version of "Hallelujah" is one of 4 tracks on a CD-R from Universal Music in Germany, which was only for internal use. The other tracks are "Pres de tois", "Lakme" and "Cook's Tune".

Mike created another version with more robotic voices.
