I don't know, it's just that the thought never even crossed my mind that there might be anything wrong with Incantations or that any changes to it might be desirable. Who knows what it'd be like if I heard the album for the first time now, but as it is, I fell deeply in love with it some twelve years ago, and when you're in love, you don't search for flaws. While I will never lose enthusiasm for them and I don't think that any of the instrumentals date, I just wonder if I would rate them differently now that I am a more experienced listener, and with so much excellent music to compare them with. The song of Hiawatha is nice, deserves to be included intact. The Three and the Four are also delighting, but we could cut the strangest moments that break the rhythm of the piece. Back to top
