Quote (Satyagraha @ June 06 2005, 12:58) | Did you, like the other Hiawatha, live there? Seems like it's not a river, but the Lake Superior, its southern shore. |
The section you quote, which begins the section on "Incantatations", does refer to Lake Superior.
The section I quote in my SIG, which is not in "Incantations" actually (but it still part of "The Song of Hiawatha"), refers to the Mississippi River, which I used to live on. There is an area of the river valley called "the Hiawatha Valley", named after "The Song of Hiawatha".
