Sounds like my kind of holiday complete r&r.Next year I`m gonna` go the full hog and book up for a fortnight in Limbo. It`s got to be better than that week I spent in Purgatory last year.Besides,I always like to go somewhere different.

Sorry Cave, you were too long in answering, so a song has been allocated for you - "Hot Potato" by you know who!

Actually, Sir M hasn't even nominated a song, so he can have "Nothing But" by Mr Oldfield.

I agree with CuNimb - I'd like to take a stab at singing "Speak, Though You Only Say Farewell." I've always liked this song, mostly for it's up-front-ness. I considered it a treasure when I got the boxed LP set for Christmas in 1976 and still cherish it today. My second choice would be "On Horseback," mainly because of the classic words, "To Hergest Ridge, You Should Come." The fact that MO likes beer too convinces me even more that he and I need to get together and have a nice long chat :o)

Over a pint or two of Guinness?Don't forget that he's rather partial to cheese and the smell of a westerly breeze too.
I wonder how he's getting his supply of Ireland's finest on a  yacht?

On Horseback for sure, no singing talent required (try it) just copious amounts of Beer        and cheese.
The westerly breeze is optional  :)

THat's by the Edgar Broughton Band, have to be a spoken word one rather than a sung one, so really has to be On Horseback

If you like beer and cheese, you're likely to get a southerly breeze!  :O

For me, Peace on Earth is the one I would like. I always though it was a great song to sing!

But I doubt any karaoke will ever include this song...

Not to brag but I have quite a pleasant British accent (for an American that is)

I'd do Flying Start.  It suits my voice.
