Hi Leonardo,
as for Ommadawn chords, you could download my MIDI and analyze it. Or if it's too much trouble, I could jot down the chords for you, just tell me. -Carsten-

Here's my X-mas gift to the fan community: The chords to Ommadawn Part One.
So if you have the time: light a candle, grab your favourite instrument (maybe a couch guitar?), get VERY relaxed, and strum along to the record.
And don't forget to tell me about all my errors wink wink wink wink

Nice work there Carsten - what more could a Mike Oldfield fan want for christmas? (well, ok, actually, probably quite a lot of things - let's not go there, I think you get what I mean wink ).

But...you did ask...

I reckon that the intro is:
F#m, F#sus4, F#sus2 and C#m.
In case anyone's wondering, that intro plays (for whatever reason) at slightly above concert pitch.

The ending (I hope I'm thinking of the right bit, to be honest I'm not following the bar numbers...), under the bouzouki is something like:
Am, G, F (x2)
C, G, C
C, G, Am then it goes back to the beginning of the sequence...(not absolutely 100% on that last G, but I think it's ok-ish...he plays a B in the bass...I'm in a bit of a cloth eared state at the moment - I may wake up tomorrow and realise how horribly wrong I've got this...).
It then rises up to:
Dm, C, Bb (x2)
F, C, F
F, C, Dm (same thoughts apply to that C as to the G before)

That'll give you the general idea at least...I guess we'll see what everyone else thinks.
Thanks Carsten!

Thanks Korgscrew,
(I hoped you would answer this!)You're probably correct about the intro. The chords being so strange, I just wrote down what my CUBASE program said.

Concerning the ending: Yes, we're talking about the last 40 bars (583 to 623, or from 17:05 to end).
I tried your chords, but they didn't sound right to me. What puzzles me completely is the base guitar going from G# to A at 17:05 (and some more times later), while the chords don't seem to support this. Any help?
