Just received the cd through Amazon.uk.Listened to it while driving to work.
The first few tracks are acceptable, slightly minimalist, ambient material. All perfectly listenable. However, the whole thing really kicks off with Track 7,"To be free",which is IMO his best song since Moonlight Shadow. It's instantly likeable, and really catchy;the sort of song which you want to hear again as soon as it's over.
The title track is also appealing, while "Daydream" sounds rather like Eric Satie with Synth."Thou art in heaven" has some very fine indeed string-synth arrangement.
All in all,it's a satisfying collection of short pieces which are all pleasing, and sometimes excellent. It lacks the cohesiveness of his longer works (particularly TSODE,to which it sounds remarkably similar at times),and a little more variety in the actual style would have been rather welcome,as all the pieces fit quite snugly into the 'ambient/chill-out' genre;nonetheless,it's certainly one of his better releases and I've become an instant fan.
Oh,and Sally Oldfield is one of the vocalists!
