Hello,

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I wasn't here...

How can I see the computer track that is present on Songs of Distant Earth CD ? In the doc, it is said to be Apple MacIntosh track, but I only have PC's around me.

Is there a way to see it anyway on PC's ?

Hi Charly,

it isn't possible to play the track with a pc. only with a mac.

I could see the MOV files. (see the FAQ)

Hey, there IS a way to watch/interact the multimedia part of TSOME CDROM on PC system !
I have played it, believe or not.

The piece of software you need is named "FUSION", It's Mac emulator for PC (DOS version).
It works great !

There's a demo version on author's homepage and i dunno whether it's sufficient for TSOTE purposes, because i have full version and it's OK.
You also need Mac ROM dump file and MacOS bootdisk image.

Okay, it can be difficult for one to put all these things together and make them working, but the view on PC running TSODE definately worth it !!! :-)
