Hi everyone!

I’m very new on this forum.. I decided to join after rediscovering Mike for about 6 months ago. I’ve always loved his music, but I’ve never been so into it before now.

A little about me:
I’m an 24 year old girl from Norway. I play a lot of instruments:
Piano (since the age of 5)
Synthesizers/Hammond (for the last 10 years)
Guitars (for about 5 years.. practising 2-3 hours every day.. I play all kinds of guitar.. also with alternative tunings. Recently discovered Guitar Craft and I’m going to attend my first course this summer with Robert Fripp as instructor)
Bass (as long as guitar)
Flutes (since 1995)
Vocals (forever.. hehe)

I make some music of my own, but for the last couple of years I’ve mainly just played others material.
I’ve also studied sound engineering. Lots of fun :)

I also like to draw, spending time with my horse, other pets, travel, photography, chatting on forums/msn and so on..

Any questions? Please ask :)

I will post a lot on this forum. Don’t worry :)

Gosh, you're lucky to have Master Robert Fripp as your instructor at Guitar Craft...together with Mike and Steve Hackett of Genesis,he is on my top 3 guitarists ever!

Welcome to the forum, and one more girl here!

Might be a problem with translation there :D

'Soft spot' means sentimental affection, a fondness or tenderness of heart...

Hi again.. and thanks for all the warm welcomes :)

About rediscovering Mike:
I've always known his music as my father is a huge fan of Mike, but I've had other bands/musicians in my head for quite a while, so Mike was fainting away for a couple of years.. but then, for about 6 months ago I received the "Live at Knebworth 1980" dvd from an friend of mine.. I didn't watch it before 3-4 weeks after I received it because I didn’t have the time to watch it, but when I did - I simply got hooked on his music again.. A very good feeling :)
So.. since then I`ve been very busy with rediscovering Mike.. I even try to play like him now. His way of playing the guitar is magnificent. I really feel his technique is working fine for me as well :)

About Robert Fripp and Guitar Craft:
Guitar Craft is alive and kicking.. hard :)
Several courses is being held all around the world during the year.
Read all about it here: www.guitarcraft.com
