Hi everyone,

I wonder if there are some mix differences between the Hergest Ridge HDCD remastered versione and the earlier CD (which I have).

Anyone knows?

Thanls

I haven't actually compared, but there should be no differences in the mix as they're both made from the same stereo mix (or rather, the same SQ quad mix). Nobody's ever reported any differences either.

They'll sound slightly different of course, one being a remaster, but the general mix is the same.

Thanks.

I stay with the "old" version.  ;)  (the only HDCD I have is Tubular Bells, because it NEEDED a remaster).

I had also Crises in HD CD but then I looked for the previous non-remastered version, because imho it sounds better (the new one is like "loudness-on").

bye

No, there isn't. It's just a remaster.
