It's been a while since we had one of these threads - so, -

Happy Birthday Ugo!

I second that! Happy Birthday, Ugo!

Happy birthday to our dear Ugo - longstanding veteran of TubularBoard and one of the reasons why these forums are a pleasure to visit. May Your* crises be few and Your moonshine plentiful.

(* Yes, I know You are neither God nor Mike, but - for Your birthday at least - I think You warrant a capital "Y".  ;) )

*raises mug of sweetened coffee* Best wishes on Your birthday, Ugo! I'd like to play a MO piece, of Your choice, in observance of the occasion. Do You have a suggestion?

Yes, happy birthday, Ugo, in your far country. (Let's make it a rule that every birthday greeting must incorporate the title of one MO piece!;)

Good grief - another year has gone by so fast!

Happy Birthday Ugo. I'm sure it's crystal clear that you'll have a great day!

Happy Birthday Ugo..Your "telecope comment" last night made me laugh so loud I woke the dog up.Who then in her confused state started barking at the door at 2 in the morning.  :D

Is that right you had so many candles on your birthday cake it took Four Winds to blow them all out?...Heh heh that must be the Sirius thing I`ve ever said.. :p

Many happy returns Ugo..  :)

The Good News is that they were reduced to Embers!

Sorry to quote your least favourite MO album (The Killing Fields) just then!

:) Yes! Happy Birthday to Ugo! a little late in the day from me, sorry, hope it was a good day for you...I shall always be grateful to you for introducing me to the wonderful sounds of Ludovico Einaudi, and I think of you whenever I hear his music. Many happy returns of the day, Ugo!

Thanks everybody... same as last year. :) Yes, I'm 38 now... I'm getting kind-of old. But hey, Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain is 54, he's the oldest band member and still hammers it out on his drums like he's 20. So I guess anagraphic age doesn't count if you don't feel it like a burden on you. Luckily, I don't. :)

Thanks again to all of you out there.

@ Daniel/nightspore: you don't need to be sorry for quoting my least-favourite M.O. album. I always appreciate Oldfieldian wordplays, no matter what album they refer to.

@ Dirk: Glad you liked my 'telescope' joke. I was thinking about a horrible techno song based on the first lines of "Saved by a Bell", including the telescope one, and the joke just popped into my mind. :D

@ 3Wheeler: that's not Italian, but the dialect from Romagna. Just out of curiosity, what did Google mess up?
