Does anyone know how he made the 'bagpipe'
electric guitar sound on TB,
I think I can hear a kind of octave pedal effect there, it may be a guitar harmony but it sounds too high.

I know exactly how he did it, and you're almost right - it's a multitracked harmony. The guitars were put through the 'Glorfindel box' (see the topic in the Amarok forum), then layered onto tape. The high pitch comes from using 'double speed guitar' - recording them with the tape running at half speed so it plays back twice as fast (and twice as high).

This, I believe, is how he gets the bagpipe sound...
