You mean the very first part, that stops the audience?
If the responses are referring to his ARP string ensemble: I don't think that one has an arpeggiator. The string ensemble in my 2000GT organ has one, but it sounds totally different and isn't programmable.
I think this is a programmed arpeggiator loop, as it is transposed during playback. I don't know from which instrument, but I doubt it is from the ARP (solina/eminent) string ensemble. Although there are many variants on that one and they all sound different, I haven't heard any sound like that and I'm not aware of programmable arpeggiators on any. My vote goes to a synthesizer with programmable arpeggiator/sequencer, but I wouldn't know which one. I haven't seen footage of the concerts except for the ones in the LP (I'll check on that one ).
