The group photo brings back memories. I used to study it for ages.

Still want to know who the two women on the left hand side are - they don't get a mention, or are they part of The Hereford City Band. They're not top row though.

And who were the Griffiths children and where are they now?

The Griffiths kids were Martin Griffiths' children from Penrhos Court were Mike used to jam with Les Penning. They're the Penrhos kids singing on On Horseback.I think Martin still owns Penrhos.I don't know what happened to the kids but i'm sure they must be mortally embarrased by the phot!
As for the other 2 ladies i've ofter wondered the same thing.

Could be.It's so wonderfully 70's.All Jesus sandals and flairs.I particuarly like the Oldfield family look.Terry wearing socks with the sandals and Sally sporting the complete Gypsy Rose Lee look.

No, Bridget is not in that group. She had a lot more hair and fuller face. The Hereford City Band are the ones in black suits (plus pink top). I guess this is taken around July 1975 before the tape troubles became a real problem and Paddy Moloney was brought in.

I thought I could see a white VW beetle in the background somewhere...

Martin and Daphne still indeed own and run Penrhos Court. It used to be a hotel but these days focusses more on residential courses about organic food and weddings etc- see www.penrhos.co.uk

I recommend it to anyone who wants some where a little different to get married as I did 2 years ago- it was totally magical and Martin and Daphne could not have done more for us if they tried. A truly amazing day- before we got married in the morning of our wedding we had time to walk along Hergest Ridge. The food in the Great Hall was wonderful and the party in the evening fantastic. Martin lit a load of torches everywhere as it got dark which lit up Penrhos and made ot look even more beautiful. We had drinks by the big open fire where Mike talks about playing stuff with Les Penning. The next morning we woke up at Penrhos to the site of snow falling- its was early April but somehow really fitting.

Pay a visit if you can-its definately worth it.

Herod; - is it a different photo - the Oldfields all look to be in the same pose but Clodagh Simons has moved - I think?

Zinc; - what wedding music did you decide on in the end?

Yes... I noticed something strange, and I realized it was a different take looking at Clodagh.... so I thought it would be nice to share it with you ;)
