This band plays both traditionals and original compositions with a contemporary sound. But they do it with so much feeling; it never sounds simply 'modernized' but completely organic. It’s a living tradition and they’re aware of it. Singer Emma Härdelin has a truly beautiful and characteristic voice; in fact, thinking of it, she would be great for Mike to collaborate with, though of course it will never happen.
They have four albums out. I'd recommend 'Guds Spelemän' or 'Vedergällningen' for a start.
