This might not be correct, but at the end of Woodhenge before it fades into the beginning of the original Sally there are very resonant bell sounds.
I know it clearly says Tubular Bells on the sleve played by Sally Cooper, but to me they sound more like Gamelan gongs
These are my reasons for the descision:
1) there are only 5 notes played. Most tubular bells consist of 2 octaves from C to C. In Gamelan there are 5 different tones which you can get out of some of the instruments named 1,2,3,5 and 6
2) it sounds much more earthier and sombre than a tubular bell would sound like. Listen to the well-known bit where the bell comes in at the end of TB Part 1
