I just downloaded the Day of the Percherons (demo) from WinMX - it's unmistakably Mike but what i'd like to know is where does it come from and what is it a demo for? It sound like his late 70s early 80s style & I like it!! (I thought i'd heard all his original stuff until I found this).

Any insight would be appreciative.

Heyas,

the source for this Babe is either the CD-version of Tom Newman's "Fine Old Tom" or the CD-remastered "Faerie Symphony", also
David Bedford and Tom Newman:
Variations On A Rhythm Of Mike Oldfield
is a possible source.

The original release date of "Fine Old Tom" was 1975.

Ciaooo,

dkay
