Nice. Gj! Has much potential. Your playing is also quite fluent. Works well.

Very nice composition! This theme really is something you can build on. To bad for the sound quality. :/

But do you consider this as a track on it's own, or is it just an idea you wanted to share?

this is a piece on it's own... i think there is difficult to develop it more... Really, i think it's worth to get some hardware to achieve the best sound quality possible...

Which sound card do you use for recording, MIDI, etc?

Agree. You've alright pretty much developed it. It's just that it would be nice for a longer track, with more themes involved. But even when it stands on it's own, I agree it deserves some more quality.

Then I'd like to add some comments. Your intro is quite risky. Not all notes go together nice. This style works very good when the guitar comes in, but maybe you should consider not to put to much contrast (in a harmonic way) in your melody in the beginning.
But what concerns me more, is your ending. Again you give me the impression you wanted to get rid of the ending quickly. Just letting the other instruments fade seems a bit cheap. You could do better with the ending.

Anyway, I hope you find good hardware, en remake this track. It kicks ass!
