Nice! Thanks for the tip, same here in Dutch iTunes Store. Unfortunately no deluxe editions (yet). I think these versions of Jungle Gardenia and Crime of Passion sound brighter. Mike took more care of these remasters thankfully.

I like Maggie's voice in the FMO demo. Interesting to hear how she sings Mike's vocoder parts. :-) I still wonder if Mike or Maggie sings the long vocoder piece of Orabidoo. Unfortunately no demos of this song. :-(

OH-MY-GODS!

Seriously thinking, this are my two 80's mike favorite albums, and now, he release the re-edition.

I hope to find it here in Mexico. It's difficult to find him in my country.

I think that demo of FMO might have convinced me to buy the deluxe version of that album now. I had pre-ordered the Crises box, and thought I would pick up FMO later on, but... wow.

FMO demo track is pretty amazing! Jewell! The remastered albums sounds almost the same as the previous ones, maybe FMO album sounds more brighter (something simmilar as Platinum remaster). Ofcourse waiting for CD to make the comparisions. But most of all, iam waiting for the 5.1 mixes (to hear separate tracks) and ofcourse for the live shows which i LOVE to hear!!! Ofcourse will buy all editions of new albums.

I think that there are some plugged-in instruments in the "unplugged mixes". ;)

Doubtful.

SOTW:  There is a fairlight and a banjo, which is in the original mix.  It's actually really nice to hear the stripped down version of the banjo.  I would have chosen something other than fairlight to represent the verses.

MS: Is nothing more than the opening of the Extended Version, extended as a stripped down mix.

The best, IMO, is the demo version of FMO!  The concerts, of course, even though most of us have had them for the better part of a decade or more, is the real jewel in the crown, so to speak.  Cleaned up versions of two of my favorite concerts!

Doubtful.

I think what Markus (slightly jokingly) meant was that there are electric and electronic instruments there, so it may be stretching things to call it 'unplugged' (though it's the case with a lot of 'unplugged' things...).

Moonlight Shadow has electric guitars, electric bass and a teeny bit of a Fairlight pad, while Shadow on the Wall has the string machine (them there be VP330 strings!).

Shame that the Shadow on the Wall mix really emphasises the distortion on Roger Chapman's voice (which was rather less obvious in the original mix, and sat better with the sond of the song anyway)...a little part of me wants to reach for a non-existent gain control every time I hear it...

I'd rather not listen to little previews, but instead wait a couple of weeks to hear the whole lot on a very good hi-fi system ;)
