I'm not generally into Mike's songs but you've got to admit this is a belter - just hold your heading TRUE...

It's such a perfect song! Sounds like they would have spent ages producing and mixing. Sounds like that kind of song.
Tellingly he got Tom Newman in to co-produce this track.

Albums like Earth Moving and Heaven's Open are especially disappointing when you know Mike was capable of making tracks like Five Mies Out.

Not fond of it. I find the vocal style rather annoying, actually: simultaneously bombastic and hard to decipher (I inevitably forget what the words actually are). Still, it's better (in my opinion, of course) than "Family Man", which, standing next to "Taurus 2", is like a tiddlywink next to the Great Pyramid.
