Hi all,
I am in talks with the piano ensemble that recorded and performed Tubular Bells as well as Piano Circus to arrange Amarok for six pianos. We are currently at the stage of looking for possible festivals that maybe interested and the general logistics of such a big project.
I would love to get these projects off the ground for 2012 and am looking for as many people as possible to spread the word - amongst Oldfield non-fans and fans alike to guage reaction and if there are any members here who have links within concert promotion, festivals or any other line of work that could help lift the project off the ground then that would be fantastic.
The Piano Ensemble are looking for an additional work to Tubular Bells to make a Mike Oldfield Programme.
Hope there are people out there with some contacts who can help move things forwards.
