Hello everybody

I want to take your attention over a new fan project (http://www.mikeoldfieldblog.es/dvdproject) that has recently started. As you can imagine for the topic tittle, it's about making DVDs. That would be done from concerts broadcasted on TV, reports, interviews...

But, the project needs of your help, mainly providing original VHS tapes that could be interesting to made a DVD or a bonus for another one, but also people who can help transfering an authoring those. An example of the films that would be needed are The Making Of Ommadawn, The Making Of Blue Peter, the full Dortmund 80 (including Silent Night)... So if you have any of them, let us know ;)

The resulting DVDs will be distributed using P2P programs such as Bit Torrent and eMule, and maybe also by snail mail. Further information on the project page at http://www.mikeoldfieldblog.es/dvdproject (at this stage, it is only in spanish) or send an eMail to David, the webmaster of this project, or to myself.

Hello!

This sounds like a very intersting project indeed. It would be very nice to track down the best possible sources for a fan-project. I have seen some very impressive dvd fan-projects on the internet from Genesis fans out there.

Unfortunately I do not have any material to contribute. Maybe I can help out with design of menus etc if there is a need for that?

Good luck with the project and I am very curious to read what is on your site in english... my spanish is very very limited...

He would be very interesting. Thanks to propose the idea, Tubularman.

And also thank you very much ekloef to offer to help with the design of the menus. At the moment, for the first DVDs, already we have creators, but for the following ones it could be possible. We will continue informing.

Greetings.

Ooh, a very interesting idea
I got some old recorded tapes, that was 20 times put from one video to another so it's bad quality... I'm sure there are people with more valuable stuff here...
would be interesting to see some of it :)

Ooh, now that sounds like a great idea - and the screenshots I've seen look much better than the DVD versions I already have.

I'd love to be able to help but don't have any master VHS tapes - I know how much fun it can be though trying to track down masters to make these DVDs...

Check out www.eppingforestdvd.tk for our similar Genesis -related project!
