I'm very happy and proud to say that this project in which we, some Spanish fans, have been collaborating in the shade for almost one year, is now coming to see the light..

Summing up a bit, I'll explain that it all started when Alex Schweigert sent a DVD to David Llorente (Toroacu) with promotional material from Universal music, which was never for sale with the album.
The DVD contained an interview by Mike at his place talking about his thoughts and feelings about music and life around the album he had just released then: Light and Shade. This interview was, of course, in English and in a simple edition, with no menus or extras.

When David received it, he first thought of organizing a DVD tree in order to distribute it for free among all the people interested, but then there was an explosion of ideas and some people offered ourselves to make it accesible to Spanish people.
After doing some inquiries to see whether we were allowed to do so, we (always as volunteers and with any other aim but making it understandable to Spanish people) started working on the transcription and translation of the interview which would be later inserted in subtitles.

The result has been that the amazing production work has made of this interview something really good, with subtitles in Spanish, menus and some extras, as well as presented with a wonderful booklet.
That's why I'm now here to offer u the chance to download it from this link: Interview, cover and booklet

I'd like now to mention the people who has collaborated in the project:

Organization and Distribution: David Llorente
Production: Enrique Hernández (KIK3) & Ángel L. Valero
Graphic Design: Ángel L. Valero
Translations: Nacho Marín & Daniel Ramírez & María Mérida

Also... there's now some talk here around about the possibility of making of this Spanish project something... international.. It would be great to have this DVD available with subtitles in English, German, Italian, Portuguese...
The base work is done, so it would be easy now to add the subtitles in other languages. We have already the transcription of the interview in English, but we would need people to translate it into the other languages.

Is there anyone out there interested in collaborating? If so, u can leave a message here or contact us through David's blog, where there's complete info about this project

I do hope u enjoy it :)

I don't have E-Mule here (on my laptop) so I can't download anything, and, additionally, I'm not very familiar with ISO image files. What am I gonna do after I downloaded the 4.34 GB file? Burn it on a DVD with Nero? :)

However, I'd be more than willing to translate the interview into Italian. You may send me the whole thing and I'll do my best to translate it. I'm also willing to prepare English subtitles, if someone is so kind to explain me how to. :D

In order to download the files you need a P2P-client like eMule, eDonkey, BitTorrent etc. After installation you just need to click on the links while the programme is running.

Caution: The files is about 4,34 GB, so it might take a couple of days to download it!

The DVD itself comes in ISO-format which can easily be burnt onto a DVD trough Nero. Just choose ISO-format.

Hope that helps!

This file is too big, because it is bigger than 4Go. Emule can not support it.

I'm not very used to emule either, actually it was only one month ago when I installed it into my computer for the first time, so thanks a lot manintherain for explaining how it works.

About the translation, It's very appreciated that u offer yourself Ugo to do it!!
Afaik, we have already the transcription of the English part, so the English subtitles can be done from that. What we would need is the translation into Italian.

The link on my previous post was to download the interview finished, that is, with the subtitles and everything, so u don't actually need emule to get the original material, just with Mike's speech, which we used to start working.

What we did then was to download it from David's blog where the whole interview was split into parts, as far as I remember. Since u will have to translate everything, unless someone else from Italy offer themselves to help, I think it's fair that u could be sent all the files to make it easier for u.

I'm in a hurry right now, but let me find out how we could do it and I will go back to u later.

But I have got a message that says:

Yes. Its a tipical problem.

You are trying to download the DVD in a partition FAT32, that has a limitation of 4 GB by file. If you have some partition NTFS in your system, download the DVD there. But, If you do not have any partition NTFS you can prove to download the Microsoft Virtual Server (its free) and create with him a hard disk virtual VHD on which to make the downloading:

Microsoft Virtual Server

To all the people who can't download this file:

A Spanish fan told me to upload my eMule, because we can download files bigger than 4Go with the new version and he is right......it works!

Thank you to all the fans in Spain for this DVD and their kindness.

:)  :)  :)  :)

Hello.

Now, I am sharing from my PC the DVD through eMule.

I am also thinking to share through the network torrent, but now, if also I raise the DVD tracker, she would lose much speed unloads for which persons that download with eMule.

But you will be able to download the DVD by torrent within weeks. I will warn this way.

Greetings.

Ok Ugo, we can send u the whole thing in English on a .doc file with room under every line where u can insert your translation into Italian.
That's how we worked as well after we had done the transcription.
Is it ok for u?

Don't worry, none of us dubbed Mike's voice. As I said before, what we did is translating what he said in order to insert it on subtitles, and those are rather silent ;-)
I think u won't regret downloading it.

Hello.

I inform that the second edition of this DVD, the International Edition, with subtitles also in German, Italian and perhaps other languages, will be shared by torrent.

I calculate that we can be finished the International Edition before Christmas.

I will inform by here.

A greeting.
