Close to being my favourite track on the new album, I *love* Dreaming in the Wind.

Related maybe but it is the track from MOTR that I most feel sounds like "earlier Oldfield", in particular I can imagine it being from the Simon Phillips era, on Crises or Discovery or Islands.

It is also a track I can really imagine being sung by another vocalist. Don't get me wrong, I think Luke does a great job (as does Mike himself in the demo). But imagine it with Anita....

completely agree. it's my favorite too, and reading your post I just realised why is that so :)

Yep, definitely my favorite after many listenings... On a good stereo system the drums sound stunning, especially after the 4:33 you mentioned in another thread...
