I loved Incantations right from the start, and it's probably m favourite Oldfield album (close run with Ommadawn and Hergest Ridge...). Of all the parts, the "Diana" theme and its many variations has always touched me...so what better than to collect all the bits in one piece? My remix project (well, it's a recreation really) started as an idea to do some sort of ambient/soundscapey type interpretations of it, but became instead a tribute to the beautiful harmonies and orchestrations of this theme, leavened with a little helping of minimalist electronica.
