interesting ground u're walkin' on there...
:)
Sounds nice, although it misses some of the darkness of the original somehow, but it has a new own flair....
I felt so free to add a link to this topic to a DM-fan-community I'm member of, too.-> there

Later,

dkay

Cool sequence. I like.
You may wanna mess with the levels on the individual trax. It doesn't work too well when everythings pushed to 10 (trax bump into each other). Some of the other trax get lost too... and try to use one or two more organic sounds.
All in all though, I like it. Great sequencing job.

Rafboy: I actually don't think like it's not balanced/mastered well... :p

You wanted opinions, there was mine.
I guess we'll just agree to disagree.
Regardless, I still think you did a fine job sequencing.

nice one BOOsTER, again!

I like it, and interesting to hear something not written by Mike.

Choosing DM is cool, but there is some serious competiton for you on their fansites, some very very good stuff out there.

Anyway, you got me thinking, maybe I should set up a poll "Which song/artist should BOOsTER cover/re-arrange next?"   ;)

How about Gary Numans "Down In The Park"?

The answer is 42 - but what is the question?

@ BOOsTER: I'm not very much aware of the 'dark' way the original track sounds (although I have it somewhere... maybe on MFTM?), but I think your result is pretty much Oldfieldish, especially considering Mike's latest ChillOut-y/Tr3sLunas-y/NewAge-y incarnation. :) I love the way the piano does pretty much dominate the track, when AFAIR it didn't, in the original version.

thanks for all the comments

@olracUK: glad you liked, if you feel like running a poll like this, go ahead...I will see if I can make something that the poll will say...

@Ugo: I liked the dark way and all the original. But I also felt like I wanted to have a bright version, that's why it's here...:)
I don't think it's similar to Tres Lunas...it's more to Trance/ChillOut in general, actually I think that Tres Lunas is just close to Trance/Chillout so that's what I would say to this. :) Excuse me if it doesn't sound nice. :)

why should anything written about Mr. O's cheapest-sounding album sound nice?
:D

SCNR,

dkay

(who'd vote for "Down in the Park", too....although "We're Glass" by Mr. Numan would be something interesting, too, especially 'cause it hasn't been covered that often, compared to DITP)

Sorry, I feel I am misunderstanding a bit. Are you excusing yourself because you think that what you are saying about TL is not nice, or that your piece doesn't sound nice? If the latter is what you think, well, IMHO you are absolutely wrong because I think that your piece sounds very nice. :) It just reminds me of TL's 'ChillOut-y" style. :)
