Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm a studying composer and just wanted to say that I was at a composer conference in Wales yesterday where David Bedford (he did the orchestral TB) was guest speaking. He seems a nice guy, but my opinion of his orchestration???? Bleuggh! Why give the opening piano line to the violins and not just leave it as a piano line?? I shall never know!!

Cool you met him!
I got quite a few of his lp's. It's nice, but not brilliant. But nice all the same
I like Rime of the Ancient Mariner :)
