Hello folks

It has been a long long while.

Here is some newer stuff created after I had to pack my studio in due to developing very bad RSI, I’ve turned to using alternative “digital instruments” to continue doing at least something without a traditional computer.

I personally love this track because its of my girl: Hanami Nights: https://eindhoven.space/tracks/hanami-nights/

There is something quite addictive about this new release by RedHeat, it’s called Hanami Nights and has that delicate eastern flavour within the music that is so appealing. The build and progression of this single and its electronic nature is pristine and beautifully produced.

RedHeat has indeed manifested something very special in this moody, yet exciting offering, one that I am sure listeners would be more than eager to purchase; this is a wonderfully fluent and colourful single indeed and one that I personally rate very highly.

by Steve Sheppard – One World Music Radio.

“Hanami Nights” is a delightful and positive piece, perfect for warm summer afternoons. When you hit play, don’t be surprised if you find yourself looking for the replay button. “Hanami Nights” is like a cherry blossom that never goes out of bloom…

Around 2020 - I had a short stint of composing during lockdown in the night,  “Let’s Go!”, an album from 2020 created much the same way as Origins that follows, won’t be for everyone I am sure. It is inspired and includes quite a few memories combined with digital signals from my amateur radio experiments although you may not be able initially identify them (that is the point really).

https://eindhoven.space/albums/lets-go/ - Hanami Nights is also included on this album.

My first foray into production in my new “studio”:

This is the one with Tubular Dogs on it.

“Origins” by RedHeat is a fresh, bold and innovative release, perfect for stargazing, dreaming and thinking. The cover shows a part of a tubular bell, which indicates the importance of Mike Oldfield’s music. But it is only a part of the picture, “Origins” is so much more. A Lao Tzu quote springs to mind: “Music in the soul can be heard by the universe.” “Origins” takes us there, into space and back, reminding us not to take it all too seriously. Let’s “Be Geezy”!

If you’ve gotten this far then here’s some real cheese.

An unusual piece called Gravity Assist has recently been released that builds up underneath another track called “Gravity Bell”. Gravity Bell is an overly obvious tribute to TB I and the way my own music has fed back into itself over the years.

The relationship between the tracks is “Gravity Assist” was composed for NASA Juno mission, the space probe we sent to Jupiter. Jupiter is nearly always used as Earth’s Gravity Assist to launch spacecraft into deep space as travelling towards it causes significant acceleration due to its mass.

Gravity Assist is a technical piece produced to run on a computer processor rather than as a streamed music format like WAV or MP3 - https://eindhoven.space/tracks....nthesis

I think it has influences from both Mike and Hans Zimmer.

The follow up track “Gravity Bell” is here:

If you feel like a bit of doom and gloom there’s a newer track titled Arisen X, this track has links to involvement with asteroid Bennu and the micro-g-next project at CO university, though that is merely influences not directly. https://eindhoven.space/tracks/arisen-x/

Previous releases:

“Marwinia” that went out in 2006, https://eindhoven.space/albums/marwinia/ - this is made with the old studio equipement.

“An album constructed from epic adventures, crusades and experiences. Eclectic, powerful music with presence and passion.”

Then there is the albums from 2000-2005 that you may have already heard if you were around in the mp3.com golden days.

I know it has been some time since an update. Unfortunately I lost most of my mind a few years ago and ended up almost dead. I had a lengthy stay in hospital while I rebooted and have now put more effort into restoring what I should have been proud of instead of ashamed because of a narcissistic & abusive father.

My new website is hopefully a reflection of that renewal.

Thanks for reading, stay tubular.
