For those who missed the thread elsewhere, have a look at the video of "Song of the Boatmen" that Matt posted. At one point there are vehicles suspiciously like cometars! A burgeoning idea, perhaps?

I remember Mike saying (about Tr3s Lunas) that creating a virtual world was something that he had in mind for many, many, many years... maybe ever since he started making music - I don't remember his exact words, but they were something like that. The longform video for The Wind Chimes features a volcano, a burning cactus, a godlike child figure in a Tai Chi pose and a spiky ball. All these elements, of course, later appeared in Tr3s Lunas. Maybe the Cometars in Maestro (which I've never actually seen, having never played the game) are another recycling of an idea he originally come up with for a music video.
