In case the title hasn't meant anything to you, I'm curious to know what is being said in the "radio tuning" sequence of Liberation in The Millennium Bell. This is what I've heard, if anyone wants to correct me or bring up new evidence please do:

Reaching out into other worlds
I have eyes, ears and a voice
Listen
Here's a special news bulletin
Cleanly Fresh!
Do you wish to leave a record of your call?
Tarzan-esque yell
Record of your call
May I have your attention please?
Zero, and folding (I used to think it was holding, but I've listened to it more)

Your transcription is 100% correct, Tim. Here's what the Amarok Player tracklist for TMB says about that bit.

09:02:08:63 Radio tuning:
09:02:10:20 Reaching out into other worlds
09:02:13:20 I have eyes, ears and a voice
09:02:16:30 Listen
09:02:17:20 Here's a special news bulletin
09:02:20:50 [Some sort of advert ??] -- This is the "Cleanly Fresh!" you heard. IMHO it's correct.
09:02:23:10 Do you wish to leave a record of your call?
09:02:25:70 Tarzan
09:02:30:10 ...record of your call?
09:02:31:65 May I have your attention please?
09:02:35:30 Zero, and folding...

Hello everyone

Just in case anyone is not aware of the importance of it- the 'Listen' comes from the original Richard Burton radio broadcast of Dylan Thomas's 'Under Milk Wood'- a major milestone in sound broadcasting.

Rob

Cor blimey, I did not know that. Thanks Rob. Throws some light onto the snippets in Liberation (But why Cleanly Fresh? Was it the first radio ad or something? Or one that happened to be on when Mike was making the Millenniun Bell?)

All I know about "Under Milk Wood" by Dylan Thomas (the book) is that it is home to the place known as Llareggub. (My store of useless information is still full). Terry Pratchett then played off this idea in his book "Soul Music" where one of the places mentioned (sort of like Wales) was called Llamedos.

Completely Mike-unrelated (Pratchett had no allusions to anything Tubular in his book), but I just had to share that with you.
