After downloading many old and new music videos off Kazaa I came to realise that Mike is one of the least known top rated Guitar players out there. He may not be associated with guitars like Eric Clapton or Jimmi Hendrix but he is extremely gifted when it comes to playing the guitar. By guitar I mean standard acoustic, electric, 12 string, mandolin etc.

Does anyone else share my view?

I do! But that's the way mike seems to like it - keeping away from the spotlight and just make fantastic music.

Two others as good as Mike at producing guitar instumental buildup and climax.

Steve Hillage - 'Motivation Radio' album superb (think he also was with Richard Bransons 'Virgin' at the time, correct?)

Todd Rundren - 'Ra' album Brill (though Todd was producer/musician, it is a fantastic piece of work)

Yes, Mike is one of the greatest guitarists ever. I haven't really heard any of Hendrix or Clapton, but I'm sure they can't be much better than Mike.
