DJ Shah's work is very very nice...the guitars on some of his tracks reminds me a lot of MO on L+S and Tres Lunas. In White Sand, the guitar sound is ery oldfieldian,really...I'd say a wannabe of MO's guitar sound from his beloved Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red.This CD I do recommend if you like this balearic trance chill out sound.
My favorite trance DJ,Armin Van Buuren,is a big supporter of DJ Shah's work, with a few tracks included on his famous compilation A State of Trance(versions 2006 with White Sand and 2007 with Who Will Find Me) as well as playing his tracks on the also famous A State of Trance radio show on www.di.fm every Thrusday.
As a bit of curiosity,on A State of Trance 2005 compilation CD from Armin Van Buuren,CD 1 is called "Light" and CD2 "Dark",quite similar to our well known L+S,also from....2005.
