Good start. I don't like the piece on itself, but for your first computer music piece, it sounds decent.

its something i did a long time ago and also the music 2000 package is all in the same key with limited effects, so the sound is a little off and grainy, im not proud of it, it was basically to see if i could make something half way to sounding decent, at the moment i am trying to figure out fruity loops, and im getting there slowly, but theres soooooo much to take in, i have next week off from work so i'll be spending a lot more time on it, i have a few samples of ideas saved, so thats a start and im really getting into it, also my mate is bringing round my midi interface, that he borrowed eon's ago! so that'll help too as i have 2 keyboards sitting upstairs waiting to be pluged in to the computer! oh well better go and fiddle with my res, cut, and echo!  :D

i think the best bet would be any files that work with floops, in particular i would like drumkits, strings, piano and guitars, plus anything for trance and ambient music im working on my first real tune now and i would love some ambient sounds, i'll send u what i have so far but please dont post it as i want the track to be complete before everyone hears it!  ;)

with sf2 files just setup the Soundfont player as channel and open them.

3x OSC preset you can just throw on a sampler chan.

A bit cheesy  :D , but not too bad at all for a first effort. Not my own taste in music, so I can't comment with any authority. The drums seem to drag on a bit after the music's finished, though. I've noticed with some of our stuff, as MO fans, that we like repetition -- throwing in variation with that makes it sound much more interesting.

Keep at it, and I'd like to hear what you can come up with next using FL! I'm much more primitive, though, and have only started using a guitar synth-like setup for some sounds. I'm still pretty much a multitracker...

rgds,
