I thought he showed up several albums later playing in "Black Magic Touch Woman".

Well, I think it could have something to do with Exegesis. In the sleeve notes of Pierre Moerlens Downwind Album (yes there are some with an inner sleeve) Pierre as well says "Charles, we don´t know how to thank you". But a Charles doesn´t appear as a musician on the album. In the line above, he thanks exegesis.

That could very well be right yes!!
Didn't think about that! I also got the LP, but without inlay  :/

Maybe the teacher, yes, whose daughter Mike married (if i'm not mistaken)  :D

I do agree with you Bevy about Mike's look on the cover, I don't think the slacks, shirt and jacket suit Mike at all  :( ,I think they make him look much, much  older than  24/25 which would be Mike's    age when the pic was taken.  It just goes to prove that you can't judge a LP/CD by it's cover.

I love Mike's hippy look  ;) ,much prefer to have Incantations with a hippy looking Mike on the cover.

That teachers name was Werner Erhard, a name given by himself after leaving his wife and four children.

His real name was John Paul Rosenberg.

There's worse things I'd call a man who abandoned his wife and children.

Was Wendy Walter at that time, or was Walter Wendy at that time?
