Here is a photo just a few days old from the eastern shore of Lake Superior (Gitche-Gumee).

By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
At the doorway of the wigwam,
In the early Summer morning,

Hiawatha stood and waited.
All the air was full of freshness,
All the earth was bright and joyous,
And before him, through the sunshine

My forum nickname is Hiawatha, I was on the shining Big Sea Water in the early summer morning. The air was full of freshness (no Hayabusa), but there was no wigwam near.

Here's another one of another area of the shore, to remind one just a little of the cover photo of "Incantations".

the blend u've made with your words and the picture of that shore smells wonderful, there's a perfume in your composition.

Hiawatha , truly beautiful, tranquil images. Thankyou for showing them. Wonderfully composed pictures too. Sadly, I doubt I'll ever get the chance to go there in this lifetime.

The Hayabusa was missing, true, I think it's roaming around Hergest Ridge somewhere. I'm still remembering THAT poem of yours whenever I listen to Ommadawn!! :)

Thanks. Glad you liked them. I was going to post some more, but these are the best two I could find.
